I used to draw often in my 20s. And I have found myself going back to it in different moments since then, but just a while back, I started writing every day and picked up a pencil again, just to see what would happen. That rediscovery is where this all began, the sketchbook pages, the book dummy, the color that shows up everywhere in my work now.

I'm still leading design teams by day. In the evenings and on weekends, I'm becoming a children's book illustrator, shaped by my Latina roots, motherhood, color, and the small details that make a moment feel true.
